Hail to my queen

So one of the reasons I've been too busy to post is that I have a new lady in my life......


you might even say she's the queen bee as far as I'm concerned......

meet Catherine (because I'm British.....and I use up what's left of my imagination coming up with the crappy puns I usually title posts with):



That's her in the middle there (the one with the extra junk in the trunk). She has rather a lot of children....and she's having more. If you look deep into the open cells in the picture below you can just make out some larvae.



So there you have it: I'm a beekeeper (albeit a total newb one). This is gonna be fun.
