Sprung

Well the bad news is I was supposed to be somewhere else this weekend but due to an Icelandic volcano, my flight was grounded and I missed my planned event. The good news is it was a lovely couple of days and I think its safe to shout from the tree-tops that Spring is here.

See? This Chaffinch is doing just that already.

Male chaffinches have been particularly vocal for the last couple of weeks but there have been plenty of other birds arriving and passing through so I've updated the list to show you where I've got to and what may be forthcoming.
