Ages ago I did a series of post on Venezuela's awesome array of raptors and promised you the best was yet to come.....and then I forgot all about it. I have now remembered so say hello to the common blackhawk (Buteogallus anthracinus).
Rather spectacular chap eh? It turns out this one was used to getting a little bit of chicken when some caiman were fed. As a result I got these shots as he swooped in to wet his beak as it were.
Just awesome.
