Of course whilst I was checking out that Zamia yesterday, I had to drop by and check the garden's red-footed tortoises were OK. They were. They have also increased in number from 2 to 3.
The third was described as a hatchling but its already a foot long which has piqued my curiousity somewhat!
Of course, hatchling or no, when it comes to portraits red-foots really don't have what you'd call a best side.

True about the best side, but what tortoise isn't lovable?
These are cuties CTC - I must confess to finding these larger tortoises more adorable than the little fellows and envy America's big gopher, bolson's and desert tortoises.
