I'm still away from home (currently back in my old home town of swinging London (baby!)) hence the paucity of posts and slow responses to comments for which I apologise. As it's going to be a couple of weeks before I get in the water again I thought I'd post a photo from last year that slipped the net so to speak.
This is an Atlantic spadefish which is the caribbean equivalent of pacific batfish: big, beautiful and friendly (and probably a little bit dumb).

We usually see them in small groups (although sadly we don't see them often) but this little chap was wandering around all alone.
