Home II

As we have already seen, in the Indo-pacific anything can be home. Having found this thin wire coral as a youngster this tiny goby will probably never leave. These chaps just patrol up and down among the polyps picking up passing particles. This image is considerably bigger than life size.

A little trick of there's is to swim around the wire coral so you can't see them, which makes it rather hard to take nice pictures of them. Interestingly they aren't even alone in adopting this lifestyle; check out this conga line of shrimps I found on another wire coral.
