Yeah; we raised some goofy owls. I presume the actuality of this is that they are getting used to focusing in on the sources of sounds and a little overwhelmed by all the stimuli outside their nest box as opposed to them just being weird but what are ya gonna do?

stevie wonder barn owls
So whilst I was away enjoying myself on holiday, my parents were watching "their" barn owls rear 3 chicks to fledging. Dad took some cool photos and even experimented with videoscoping using his stills camera. This isn't the greatest quality video but the content is rather special as are the owls.
