I don't want to boar you.....
....but Sri Lanka was awesome. I spent almost of all my time in a single location - Yala National Park in the south-east dry zone. This meant I had the pleasure of these guys' company as well as elephant, water buffalo and grey langur within the hotel as well as a shot at Sri Lanka's two big carnivores.
It also meant I missed out on the highlands, the rainforest and quite a few endemics. Life is a trade-off and on this occasion I wanted to stay in one place for a week rather than constantly travelling plus I now have a reason to go back......
