...and in honour thereof - some curcubits. These little pumpkins were beautiful - I'm not entirely sure of the variety but they look a lot like Hooligan which produces similar sized fruit too.
This little corner fruit store in Boston had quite a bounteous display - in addition to the mini-pumpkins were acorn squash, pie pumpkins and the weird gourd/squash things on the left.
They all look a little too delicious to carve up to me.
