Going to Xtremes....

Sometimes if you want to see nature you need to immerse yourself in it.......at high speed......from a height of 45 feet. This is a picture of your correspondent taken 2 minutes before I took this dragonfly photo. You can see my camera clipped off to my butt.

This is Canyoning and its awesome. A day of extremely hard work and adrenalin-pumping jumps and rapeils. Best of all for me was the way we got to work our way through wonderfully unspoilt habitat. I was convinced I was going to find a hispaniolan boa the whole day but kind of had to focus on not killing myself.
