when diving with a camera and strobes you invariably have a lot to fiddle with, switch on and get ready pre-dive. Its easier to get everything lined up and in position on the bottom than on the surface. That approach has its flaws too. I was still getting everything sorted when this big grey catfish swam past on saturday morning. D'oh!

There was actually a lot of particles in the water so I doubt the shot would have been much better if I was ready but seeing a good size nurse shark like this female swimming over such dense soft corals was its own reward.
