Weekly highlights

This week's nature highlights for me included:

• Two Peregrine sightings over the city, one of which featured a bird carrying prey (a feral pigeon (well done the falcon))
• Wilson's snipe flying over the city (perhaps my urban snipe have returned?)
• A couple of nice adult red-tails;
• A number of paired up kestrels;
• A snake (presumed Antillean Racer);
• A couple of juvie night herons;
• A possible merlin; and
• Two hawksbill turtles (including a tagged animal sleeping in a wreck).
