Arachnophobes avert your eyes now...
Following on from the last couple of posts on bugs in the house - here and here - I found this chap the other day. Once again my ignorance of terrestrial inverts swings into play - I have no idea what exactly this is beyond "big, orange spider".
I will say this - it was prodigously mobile - when it ran it was uncatchably fast. Luckily it stopped a couple of times so I could get these shots...

Looks like an Orange Huntsman Spider.
What did you do to the spider, were you able to kill it
I left it wandering about the house - when you live in the tropical caribbean, spiders in the house are a good thing: they eat mosquitos, roaches and other things I don't want in my house!
