Really, these Royal Terns look appallingly bald when their crests fade. No wonder they spend so much time at sea. I'm looking forward to summer when the other species return and these guys start to look a bit more dignified.
LOL! I have often thought the same thing. There is a distict resemblance to some good friends--and no comb-overs.
