Caribbean Herons III

So to continue our Caribbean heron series we must move away from the quirky multi-coloured species (not because there aren't more but because I'm out of photos for the time being) and onto the white herons. Except this is the little blue heron which confusingly enough starts out white.

Little blues are another very common heron here. I mainly see slaty blue adults but throughout the year there have been a few juvenile birds that look like this.

Looking altogether different are those midway between adult and juvenile which have a really rather ugly piebald look.
