I won't pretend the wet winter (and spring and summer) didn't knock Agave americana medio-picta back but it looks OKish now...
This white Echinops has only just opened. Lots of flower to come...
the kniphofia are pretty much done....
If you plant it...they will come. Red Admirals are probably my most common butterfly...
bumbles by the dozen on the single lavender....
and one of my girls getting busy for me on the Verbana...

visitor so far is a hummingbird hawkmoth (well....I've also had
buzzard, marsh harrier, honey buzzard, kestrel and a pair of spoonbills
over the top but they don't really count).
