Wordless wednesday

This is a heavily gravid, captive ball python. Hopefully at the same time you're reading this I'll be photographing one of the bigger Python species.

I think the most unsettling thing about this photo is how thick the snake's tail is, until just before you reach the tip. Makes me shudder just a little.
