Slow...slow...quick, quick, slow.

So remember that shipment of cycad seeds I received last week? Here is part of it - note the Cycas angulata seeds at top left.

In the unlikely event you can find cycad seed in a catalogue there is usually some blurb about how long they take to germinate; months or even years are mentioned and often that is the case. When you get truly fresh seed which is ready to germinate results can come rather quicker. Here they are 5 days later.....

Those radicles were pointing downwards but I rotated them temporarily so that they were visible.
