S0 appalling weather nullified all hopes of finding herps last week with the result you get a herp from the back catalogue. This is of course the Hawaii and Australia destroying cane toad, Bufo marinus.
Not too much to say about this beyond noting that this is a Venezuelan specimen and hence is actually where it should be unlike many cane toads which are slowly taking over the tropical world as a human spread invasive menace.
