Kes

kes

A rather different Kestrel to those I've featured in the past. This is a male Eurasian kestrel as opposed to the smaller and cuter American kestrel we used to see every day in the Caribbean. I'm hoping for better and more shots of these and two other species of raptor over the year as I'm reasonably sure I should be able to locate nesting territories for them - there are kestrel boxes all over the island!
