So I'm now up to 99 birds after bagging one feral species this morning which left me driving home looking out for one more species when I saw this wandering around by the side of the road. Its not a native and I'm fairly sure I'm not going to be ticking this ;).
Nice surprise though and cool to see even if it doesn't get me to a hundred.
If you're wondering how an emu gets to the Caribbean......I have no idea either.

No, I don't count them unless I see them in their native habitat, but that doesn't mean they're not cool to see--as you point out.
And it's obvious how it got there. It walked, silly! After all, they can't fly and aren't good swimmers.
