Here's another of Guana island's wild orchids. This is Psychilus macconnelliae
It flowers on a tremendously long stem which combined with its epithytic habit and a strong wind made photographing it a nightmare. Hence the missus' hand appears below.
I didn't notice her wristbands (pink = the fight against breast cancer, sky blue = the fight to conserve Cayman Blue Iguanas in case you were wondering) showed up in the background until we were home which is how this came to pass:
