This absolutely monster Ficus is located on a rainforest trail in St. Kitts. It is known simply as "The Tree".

Now I come to write this post I'm kind of wishing I had a photo of the signpost which was simply an arrow marked "- The Tree". Those long surface roots go considerably further than this image shows - all the way down a hillside and over a rock fissure into a small dried up stream gulley. This was up there with the most primeval looking things I've ever seen and if I ever get signed up to direct "Jurassic Park IV" then "The Tree" would definitely be one of the locations I'd shoot at.
