A couple of noteworthy points to make about the photo below. Firstly, it gives you an idea of scale. Each cage is 8 feet long and there is a 1 foot gap between the two. Therefore the distance from the left edge of the left cage to the right edge of the right cage is 17 feet which means that is a big shark

Well the question I would ask is "why isn't the photographer in the cage???"! Is that what you were thinking of or am I just weird?
Is the cage off the bow of the boat? Like right next to the twin motors?
My question would be, how long did it take you to clean out your underwear?
Thanks for the comments all; JJ spotted the suggestion I was trying to plant - the idea that the photographer would be outside the cage. I was of course safely encased in a cage - the boat we used has a winch down submersible cage you sit on the top of (and drop into if necessary) that allowed the taking of this photo.
Uff, BIG shark...
