My warbling little ray of sunshine

So here's the little ray of sunshine who put a smile on my face whilst dodging the rain - a nice male Yellow Warbler. This is may be my favourite bird species here - its so bright it is almost unbelievable and yet with a quick flit it can just disappear into the canopy.

This guy was really getting his song on though, perched on the highest branch of a little scrub mangrove and letting loose with his simple song. Luckily for me the mangrove was a nice short one so i could get a shot at him - my usual sightings are slightly more distant.
