Owl news

So Mum and Dad have provided an owl update - I'm sure you've all been eagerly awaiting more news! Well all 3 chicks have fledged or at least reached fledging time.

This shot shows mother or father sat atop their box (note the ring on the adult - it probably hatched in a box like this in the past) and the 3 chicks on the ledge. Trying to get all 4 in focus at once is quite the trial apparently especially with practise flapping going on all over the show.

Also its rather a trial getting them to look the right direction and stop begging for food (furthest back chcik - I'm talking to you).

I'm having connectivity issues this week so I'm programming autoposts to show you more of Dad's owl photos throughout the week. There should be other posts too hopefully. Enjoy.
