10 dives on Monad Shoal, multiple sightings of sharks and one typhoon = 1 picture
Alopias pelagicus, the pelagic thresher is probably the hardest shark I've come across to photograph, which makes sense since its probably the hardest to find that divers can have any real expectation of seeing. This means there are very few decent photos and sadly this isn't one of them. At least hammerheads turn up fairly regularly (have I shown you some hammers yet? - remind me to). Nevermind, threshers are still my favourites.
